Dodgers left-handed relief pitcher Scott Alexander was transferred to the 60-day Injury List on Thursday but manager Dave Roberts doesn’t want to rule out the possibility of a return this season.
“I don’t want to close the door on his season,” Roberts said. “I know that it’s been a slow kind of get back to health.”

Roberts confirmed that Alexander is still throwing, though uncertain how aggressively and whether or not he’s pitching to hitters.
The 32-year-old lefty went down with shoulder inflammation on July 20th for the second time since May before being transferred to the 60-day IL.
