The Dodgers welcome Kenley Jansen back into town on Monday evening. The longtime closer for Los Angeles, Kenley signed a one-year deal to head out to Atlanta this offseason. That deal came right after MLB ended its lockout.
And while the Dodgers did want to bring Kenley back on board, he couldn’t wait around to find out if they would. He took a $16 million deal to become the Braves’ closer, and there didn’t seem to be any hard feelings on either side.
But when asked about Kenley before the game on Monday, Dave Roberts did seem excited to see him.
