Opponents of the Los Angeles Dodgers by now should know that if Miguel Rojas gets a hit, the Dodgers will win the game. It happened again on Saturday against the Los Angeles Angels, Rojas collected two hits and the Dodgers rolled to a 7-2 win.
The bottom third of the lineup delivered for the Dodgers. Cavan Biggio, Gavin Lux, and Rojas combined for six of the team’s nine hits and scored five of the seven runs. Lux got the Dodgers on the board first with a third-inning homer, his first homer since May 7.
“To get those guys at the bottom, collectively, then it just makes our offense tough to navigate,” Roberts said.
