It’s natural to get away as soon as you lose. Unfortunately for Dave Roberts going home wasn’t an option after the NLDS loss to the Padres as his family lives in San Diego.
The Padres went on to compete in the postseason and rather than listening to all the Padres fans of the area, Roberts decided it would be best for him and his family to take a nice vacation. Roberts enjoyed the off-season early and didn’t just leave the city, he left the country as a whole.
While the Dodgers have plenty of time left to improve on the mistakes of the postseason, now is the time to recharge and prepare for another long season ahead.
