The Los Angeles Dodgers are reportedly in discussions with Farhan Zaidi, their former general manager and former president of baseball operations for the San Francisco Giants, about rejoining the organization, according to league sources cited by The Athletic on Tuesday.
Zaidi, who was hired before the 2019 season and fired by the Giants in September, was replaced by San Francisco’s beloved former catcher Buster Posey.
Details of his potential role with the Dodgers are also unclear as no deal has been finalized.
If Zaidi returns, he would reunite with the Dodgers, where he spent four seasons as general manager under president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman.
