The Dodgers are going to need to figure something out with Max Muncy. The slugging infielder has not been right all season, likely stemming from that UCL tear in his elbow. He sustained that in a collision at first base last season against the Brewers.
And although he has said it’s fine enough to play through, Muncy has also added he doesn’t expect it to be healed up until 2023. That would be a problem if the elbow is indeed what’s contributing to this terrible slump he’s in. Luckily, the Dodgers have the production to be able to last through that slump.
