The Dodgers are close to acquiring infielder/outfielder Tommy Edman from the St. Louis Cardinals, according to multiple reports Monday.
Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times was the first to report the White Sox were close to making a trade. Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic was the first to report Edman was headed to the Dodgers in the deal. Van Schouwen and Rosenthal also reported that starting pitcher Erick Fedde is going to St. Louis in the three-team trade.
