The Los Angeles Dodgers announced 50,250 were in attendance for Fan Appreciation Day at Dodger Stadium on Sunday, which brought their home mark to 3,809,684 for the season. It marked the second-highest attendance for a single season in franchise history, and eighth-highest in National League history.
The only season in which fans attended more games at Dodger Stadium was in 2007 when they finished with a total of 3,857,036 despite going 82-80 that year.
Los Angeles has now reached the 3 million in attendance milestone in each of the last seven seasons and every year since 2000; 2011 is the only exception.
