Los Angeles Dodgers left-handed pitcher Clayton Kershaw has suffered a minor setback in his return from his first major surgery.
Kershaw has been dealing with some soreness, and won’t make his next scheduled rehab start on Tuesday. Moreover, Kershaw has been shut down from throwing for at least a week, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters on Monday ahead of the team’s series opener against the White Sox in Chicago.
Fortunately, the MRI showed no new damage in the surgically repaired shoulder, but the Dodgers will remain cautious with their 36-year-old superstar.
