Dodgers’ Clayton Kershaw Making More Progress In Return

Future Hall of Famer Clayton Kershaw could be back on the big league mound before we know it. The left-hander threw a two-inning simulated game Sunday before the Dodgers’ loss to the Milwaukee Brewers.

Manager Dave Roberts provided an update, and it was a promising one.

“It was good to see him throw two innings. We accomplished what we wanted to.”

Fabian Ardaya of The Atheltic shared that Roberts said if everything goes well, Kershaw could only need two rehab starts before L.A. activates him.

The 36-year-old has been sidelined all season long after undergoing surgery on his left shoulder last November, and it seems like Kershaw could be ready to make his 2024 debut for the Dodgers at some point within the next month or so.
