The Dodgers could really use some health in their starting rotation. With the struggles of Walker Buehler and the constant need for spot starters, getting guys like Andrew Heaney and Clayton Kershaw back will be incredibly helpful.
Kersh has been sidelined since he went 7 strong innings against the Cubs in early May. His back issue flared up and become too painful for him to continue throwing. It got so bad that the Dodgers sent him back home to Texas while they went out on their road trip.
But there is some good news coming out of today.
