Dodgers claim Zac Rosscup from Rockies

The Dodgers on Wednesday claimed left-handed reliever Zac Rosscup from the Rockies and designated lefty Edward Paredes for assignment.

Rosscup was originally drafted in 2009 by the Rays when Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman was running the club. After getting traded to the Cubs in 2011, Rosscup has made a combined 71 appearances at the big league level, most recently with Colorado after being traded there last season.
