Dodgers claim Ryan Dennick off waivers from Reds, DFA David Huff

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers on Wednesday claimed left-handed pitcher Ryan Dennick from the Reds, and optioned him to Double-A Tulsa. To make room on the 40-man roster, David Huff was designated for assignment one day after allowing four runs in four innings in a spot start against the Mariners.

Dennick, 28, was drafted by the Royals in the 22nd round in 2009, and selected by the Reds in the 2012 Rule 5 Draft. The left-hander allowed three runs (two earned) on four hits in 2u2154 innings in two games for Triple-A Louisville so far this season, with five strikeouts and no walks.
