Dodgers claim righty Corcino off waivers from Reds

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers on Friday claimed right-handed pitcher Daniel Corcino off waivers from Cincinnati. They also designated for assignment left-handed pitcher Ryan Dennick, and they are expected to recall left-handed reliever Adam Liberatore from Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Corcino, 24, had been at Double-A Pensacola and was ranked as the 23rd-best prospect in Cincinnati's farm system. He's gone 45-52 with a 4.13 ERA and three saves in 168 career Minor League appearances, including 116 starts. Corcino was 0-2 and allowed nine runs in 18 2/3 innings in five games (three starts) with the Reds last season.
