LOS ANGELES — The Dodgers on Tuesday added to their pitching depth, claiming left-hander Justin Marks off waivers from the Rays.
Marks appeared in one game in relief for Tampa Bay, allowing a run on two hits in 1u2153 innings, with a walk and a strikeout. The Rays designated Marks for assignment on Saturday.
The 29-year-old lefty had a 4.60 ERA in nine games with Triple-A Durham this season, with 15 strikeouts and nine walks in 15u2154 innings. The Dodgers assigned Marks to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
