Jake Lamb drove in the tying run with a two-out double in the ninth, then tripled and scored the winning run in the 12th inning, lifting the Diamondbacks over the Dodgers 2-1 on Saturday night at Chase Field in Phoenix.
Lamb led off the 12th with a triple in the right field corner against Casey Fien, who then intentionally walked the next two batters to load the bases and set up a force play at every base. The Dodgers brought Howie Kendrick in from left field to have a five-man infield, but Brandon Drury rendered that formation moot with a line drive single to right field to end the game.
