Less than 20 hours after watching the Diamondbacks run around the bases on their way to a victory in 15 innings, the Dodgers watched Arizona take a stroll in the seventh inning Tuesday.
Dodger relievers issued three straight bases-loaded walks to leave the visiting team with a frustrating four-run deficit. The Dodger offense that had plenty of hard contact early in the game with no reward, had no answer to the barrage of free passes that ultimately secured a 6-1 loss.
The bullpen for Los Angeles allowed eight walks with the bases full all of last season.
