Dodgers can't even stay healthy in 12-4 loss to Arizona

PHOENIX >> When winning the game exited the realm of possibilities quickly Friday night, the Dodgers’ only job was to go home healthy.

They couldn’t do that, either.

Alex Guerrero left in the third inning of the Dodgers’ 12-4 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks with a strained left calf muscle. He will undergo an MRI exam Saturday.

The more worrisome development was the putrid start by left-hander Alex Wood, who surrendered eight runs (six earned) in 1 2/3 innings. It was the shortest of 63 starts in Wood’s career, as measured by innings or by pitches (62).
