Kenley Jansen’s bounce back from blowing three consecutive saves following the all-star break, including one where he was booed off the mound after failing to convert his second straight save in as many nights to the rival Giants, is a big reason why the Dodgers bullpen finished with the lowest ERA in baseball from July 23 until the end the of the season.
LA’s bullpen put up a 2.46 ERA in 270.2 innings pitched to close out the year and Jansen’s dominance over the final two months of the season was a big reason why the team was able to tie the franchise record in wins at 106-56.
