Dodgers Call Up Daniel Corcino, Option Pat Venditte To Triple-A Oklahoma City

The Los Angeles Dodgers announced ahead of Saturday night’s game against the Atlanta Braves that they have called up left-hander Daniel Corcino and optioned switch-pitcher Pat Venditte to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

To make room for Corcino on the 40-man roster, prospect Dennis Santana was transferred from the 10-day to the 60-day disabled list.

The Dodgers signed Corcino to a Minor League deal in May of 2017 and he has been pitching in the Minor Leagues ever since. He appeared in 14 games (six starts) so far this season between Double-A Tulsa and Triple-A Oklahoma City, going 3-1 with a 2.
