LOS ANGELES – Pedro Baez and Chris Hatcher gave up solo home runs and the bullpen was touched for four runs in the final three innings, ruining Kenta Maeda’s second scoreless start, as the Dodgers lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-2 in their home opener Tuesday afternoon at Dodger Stadium.
The Dodgers have now lost four of their past five games after starting 3-0. Relievers have taken the loss in three of those four defeats and the Dodgers' bullpen has allowed 16 runs on 21 hits and seven walks in 13 2/3 innings since leaving San Diego last week.
