The Dodgers injury bug is so bad that it’s even extended to the minor league side. Los Angeles has already lost Dustin May to Tommy John surgery this year, and it sounds like they will be losing one more arm in their system.
Brock Stewart announced today that he will need to have the season-ending surgery next week. The Dodgers right-handed pitcher cited weeks of elbow issues that led to the decision by him and the medical staff to opt for surgery.
The Dodgers brought Stewart back to the organization on a minor league deal this past offseason.
