The Los Angeles Dodgers bullpen had been nearly untouchable for 13 consecutive innings until the San Francisco Giants snapped that streak with a pair of home runs off relievers Daniel Hudson and Blake Treinen on Friday night at Oracle Park.
Treinen only threw eight pitches in the bottom of the ninth inning. He walked Luis Matos on four pitches and then surrendered a two-run homer to rookie Brett Wisely on a 1-2 count. The walk-off shot cleared the wall in right to give the Giants their 31st walk-off win over the Dodgers since the teams moved west from New York City in 1958.
