Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander Blake Snell said he underwent testing on his shoulder after being placed on the 15-day injured list. He has been dealing with shoulder soreness for almost a month.
The results of the MRI showed inflammation, but no structural damage. Snell is “hopeful” he will only miss a few weeks.
Snell threw a bullpen on Sunday, but could not finish it. He spoke to Dodgers trainer Albert Thomas and general manager Brandon Gomes after the bullpen session, and was placed on the IL not long after.
