The Dodgers and Lance Lynn overpowered the Padres on Sunday, using the long ball and small ball to put up 7 runs en route to LA’s first Sunday victory since May 14th.
Lynn was exceptional for 6 innings, allowing just one run on a solo homer. He was the recipient of some quality defense behind him including a 2nd inning double play that the Dodgers successfully challenged to end a San Diego threat.
Freddie Freeman led the Dodgers to the win with an impressive 3 run home run off old friend Rich Hill, continuing his torrid stretch.
