The Dodgers really needed to come out and score some runs on Tuesday night. Following back-to-back poor performances in Colorado against the Rockies, they had to come into Minnesota and face the Twins in the rain. That seemed to complicate things for most of the game.
If there was a highlight from the early innings, it was the work of Andrew Heaney. The southpaw was a big question mark heading into the season given how poorly his Spring Training went. But Heaney spun 4.1 innings of work allowing just one unearned run. He also struck out 5 Twins and did not issue a single walk.
