Dodgers fans are all holding their breath waiting for that moment that baseball is able to return. At this point, we would take any form of baseball regardless of whether or not fans are allowed. As it turns out, there is a good chance that fans will not get to see Los Angeles play in-person at all.
Dr. Jeffrey Smith, a Santa Clara County executive officer, seems to think that the idea of spectator sports returning to California is unlikely. Via The Athletic(subscription required), Smith told the county Board of Supervisors that there would not be any games in California until at least the end of the year, crushing Dodgers fans’ hope.
