LOS ANGELES — The Dodgers on Thursday avoided salary arbitration with a pair of players, signing pitcher Chris Hatcher and outfielder Scott Van Slyke to one-year contracts for 2017.
Van Slyke gets $1.325 million, per Chris Cotillo of SB Nation, a raise from $1.225 in 2016. Chris Hatcher’s will make $1.25 million in 2017, per the Associated Press, up from $1.065 million last year.
Hatcher is out of options.
The Dodgers still have seven more players eligible for salary arbitration this winter — Yasmani Grandal, Alex Wood, Louis Coleman, Luis Avilan, Josh Fields, Vidal Nuño and Darin Ruf.
