The Dodgers almost lost one of their talented front-office executives this winter. Jeff Kingston was rumored to be in the discussions for the General Manager position for a few other clubs, and he might have been a final candidate down in Anaheim.
The Angels opted to hire Perry Minasian as their General Manager, but Kingston was one of the final 6 under consideration. The Dodgers assistant GM will stick with Los Angeles for now, but there is always the chance he is under consideration by other teams.
