It’s been a long time since the Dodgers have been able to host fans at games. The last time there were real-life people packed into the stands was when they were knocked out of the NLDS in 2019. That means that it’s been 499 days since the left-field pavilion was jumping, even if it was a loss.
But the good news is that things are starting to somewhat trend in the right direction. As recently as today, it was reported that all 5 California teams are hoping to get the chance to host fans by Opening Day. And as it turns out, the Dodgers are increasingly hopeful with the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccination in full force.
