LOS ANGELES — The Dodgers finalized their opening day roster on ..., with no surprises. To get from the 30 players technically remaining in big league camp down to 25, the club placed five players on the new 10-day disabled list to begin the regular season.
The club placed Pedro Baez (right wrist contusion), Andre Ethier (herniated disc in his back), Scott Kazmir (left hip strain), Josh Ravin (right groin strain) and Brock Stewart (right shoulder tendinitis) on the DL, retroactive to Thursday. That means they could be activated as early as next Monday, though at least four of the five players won’t be ready by then.
