Dodgers Among Most Likely Landing Spot for All-Star Pitcher in Blockbuster Trade: Report

The Dodgers’ front office is hard at work this offseason as they sift through the market of available players for next season. One target the Dodgers have been eyeing is Chicago White Sox southpaw starting pitcher Garrett Crochet. According to The Athletic’s Jim Bowden, Los Angeles is a likely candidate for the 25-year-old.

Bowden, who has spoken with several front office executives, said Crochet will most likely be traded by the end of the year. If the Dodgers are unable to acquire Crochet, Bowden linked Crochet to the Boston Red Sox and Baltimore Orioles. All three teams have young position players to offer Chicago in exchange for Crochet.
