The Dodgers are starting their use of the Injure List early in the season it seems, placing Alex Wood on it today. In a corresponding move, the team will also recall Josh Sborz who was traveling with the team to Houston.
Wood is going to the injured list just a few days after a rough start against the Giants. He pitched three innings and allowed three earned runs in a loss to San Francisco. Wood also struggled to find his command the entire game, walking three batters. The Dodgers are calling his injury ‘shoulder inflammation’ so take that as you will.
