Dodgers reliever Alex Vesia has been one of the most consistent pitchers L.A. has had in their bullpen. Vesia has spent the last two seasons in L.A. but was a Miami Marlins draft pick in 2018 in the 17th round with the 507 overall pick.
He was called up in 2020 but was in for a rude awakening as in five games he pitched in, he posted an 18.69 ERA, allowing seven hits, ten runs, nine earned runs, three home runs, and only five strikeouts in 4.1 innings pitched.
In the 2021 offseason, he was dealt to the Dodgers for Dylan Floro, and Vesia shared his reaction in a recent interview.
