Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Alex Vesia and his wife, Kayla, announced they are expecting a baby in a post to social media Saturday.

“Baby Vesia coming soon, we are beyond excited for this next chapter!” the couple wrote in a caption on Instagram.
Vesia joined the Dodgers in 2021 when he was sent to L.A. as part of a trade package from the Miami Marlins. In 2024, Vesia was one of the Dodgers’ most effective relievers producing a 1.76 ERA and 87 strikeouts over 66.
