As expected, the Los Angeles Dodgers officially added relief pitcher Zac Rosscup to their 25-man active roster. Walker Buehler was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City to create room for the left-hander.
The Dodgers claimed Rosscup off waivers from the Colorado Rockies earlier this week. He’s yet to pitch in the Majors in 2018, but shined with the Rockies’ Triple-A Albuquerque affiliate.
In 10 games, he pitched to a 1.08 ERA, with nine strikeouts against three walks across 8.1 innings. Over parts of four seasons with the Chicago Cubs and Rockies, the 30-year-old is 3-1 with a 5.
