The Dodgers announced Monday that Tim Neverett will join the team’s broadcast crew in 2019 for both television and radio. Neverett will move around as needed, covering TV for Joe Davis when he is on national assignment and radio in Charley Steiner’s absence.
The club also extended Steiner through the 2021 season on a lighter schedule than years past. It sounds like the veteran play-by-play man will cut back on the road schedule for the next three seasons as he heads into his 15th year with the Dodgers.
“We’re excited to welcome Tim to our broadcast team, and know Dodger fans will appreciate his knowledge, passion and insight on the air,” said Lon Rosen, Dodger Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.
