On the first day of league-wide roster expansion, the Los Angeles Dodgers added both righty pitcher Ryan Meisinger and utilityman Zach McKinstry to the team’s active roster, bringing the current count to the full 28 players.
According to this year’s MLB rules, clubs can also carry up to five players on a taxi squad to facilitate injury or COVID-19 replacement.
At the time of this writing, the players making up the taxi squad have yet to be announced.
Meisinger, 27, was claimed on Tuesday from the Chicago Cubs. He went 0-0 with a 12.
