Following the news that Dustin May would miss the 2021 season with Tommy John surgery, the Dodgers made another move. The team had previously announced that they had designated LHP Mike Kickham for assignment and acquired Phil Bickford from the Brewers.
As it turns out, Bickford did not take Kickham’s spot on the active roster. Instead, the Dodgers added LHP James Pazos into the mix. He will join the team in Chicago and be available to pitch out of the bullpen should there be a game tonight.
Pazos came to the Dodgers on a minor league deal over the winter after spending 2 years with the Rockies.
