LOS ANGELES -- After playing 17 innings on Sunday, the Dodgers on Monday recalled pitchers Mike Bolsinger and Luis Avilan from Triple-A Oklahoma City, optioned Ross Stripling to OKC and placed Chin-Hui Tsao on the 15-day disabled list with a right triceps strain.
Bolsinger is expected to start Tuesday night in place of Stripling, who pitched the final three innings of relief and was the winning pitcher in the Sunday marathon the Dodgers won, 9-5.
Bolsinger was sent down to OKC on Thursday, one day after being recalled as a sixth starter and pitching 4 1/3 innings against the Angels.
