LOS ANGELES — The Dodgers on Tuesday activated infielder Logan Forsythe from the disabled list, and optioned relief pitcher Josh Ravin to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Forsythe missed five weeks dealing with a broken right toe and right hamstring tightness. He last played for the Dodgers on Apr. 18.
Though 11 of his 14 starts this season have been at second base, Forsythe will play third base in the short term for the Dodgers, who have Justin Turner on the disabled list with a right hamstring strain of his own.
That means continued playing time for Chris Taylor, who has hit .
