There were a couple of off day moves for the Dodgers on Thursday. The club announced that right-hander Joe Kelly would be coming off the injured list and joining the team in time for the series in Anaheim starting on Friday. In a corresponding move, left-hander Scott Alexander was placed on the IL with shoulder inflammation. The move is retroactive to May 3.
Kelly will be making his season debut when he finally gets into a game. He spent spring training and the first month of the season rehabbing from offseason surgery to remove a cyst from his right shoulder.
