The Dodgers in between games of their doubleheader against the Nationals activated relief pitcher Erik Goeddel, and optioned Pat Venditte to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Goeddel was claimed off waivers from the Mariners on Friday, and in five games with Seattle allowed one run on four hits in 7u2153 innings, with nine strikeouts and five walks. He will wear number 62 with the Dodgers.
Venditte allowed two runs in 2u2154 innings in his three appearances this week for the Dodgers, striking out two.
Yimi Garcia was also officially added as the 26th man for the second game of the doubleheader for the Dodgers.
