Dodgers Activate Erik Goeddel Off 10-Day Disabled List, Option Pat Venditte To Triple-A Oklahoma City

Ahead of Monday’s series opener against the San Francisco Giants, the Los Angeles Dodgers activated Erik Goeddel off the 10-day disabled list and optioned Pat Venditte back to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Goeddel was only forced to miss the minimum 10 days due to inflammation in his right lat. The right-hander has gone a combined 3-0 with a 3.06 ERA in 30 games for the Seattle Mariners and Dodgers. He has struck out 43 and walked 20 in 35.1 innings.

Goeddel started off strong with the Dodgers, tossing 14.1 scoreless innings across his first 13 appearances. He has struggled a bit since then though and overall has pitched to a 3.
