The Los Angeles Dodgers’ struggling bullpen was shuffled a bit on Friday as the team announced that Daniel Hudson was activated Erik Goeddel was placed on the 10-day disabled list with right elbow inflammation ahead of the series opener against the Seattle Mariners.
Hudson had been out since August 7 with right forearm tightness. Fortunately, the two-time recipient of Tommy John Surgery did not have a more serious injury.
Hudson has been mediocre during his time with the Dodgers. He currently holds a 3.92 ERA, 4.19 FIP and 1.24 WHIP over 43.2 innings pitched.
He is in his first season with the Dodgers after spending time with the Chicago White Sox, Arizona Diamondbacks and Pittsburgh Pirates.
