The Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday morning activated outfielder Cody Bellinger and utilityman Zach McKinstry from the injured list after optioning outfielder DJ Peters and utilityman Sheldon Neuse back to Triple-A Oklahoma City, according to a team announcement.
The 25-year-old Bellinger missed 46 games after being placed on the injured list on April 9 with what turned out to be a fracture of his left fibula. He played in five rehab games with Oklahoma City, going 4-for-20 with two homers and three RBI. Prior to the injury, he appeared in four games for the Dodgers at the beginning of the season, batting .
