The Los Angeles Dodgers have officially activated future Hall of Famer Clayton Kershaw off the 60-day injured list to start Thursday’s game in what will be his 2024 debut. To make room for him on both the 40-man and active rosters, Yohan Ramirez was designated for assignment.
Kershaw is officially back after undergoing offseason shoulder surgery that’s kept him out for the first four months of the season. Kershaw went 13-5 with a 2.46 ERA across 131.2 innings pitched in 2023, but struggled in his one and only postseason start.
Kershaw is 56 strikeouts away from joining the 3,000 strikeout club.
