LOS ANGELES — The Dodgers on Sunday acquired minor league utility man Connor Joe from the Braves in exchange for international amateur signing bonus pool space.
Joe, who turned 25 in August, hit .222/.319/.340 with 13 doubles, five home runs and four triples between two levels in 2017, with 94 of his 97 games in Double-A. This is the second trade of the season for Joe, who was dealt from the Pirates to the Braves for Sean Rodriguez on Aug. 5.
“My mind went into a fog,’’ Joe said of that August trade, per Terry Monahan of the San Diego Union-Tribune.
