Apparently the Dodgers missed Chris Heisey so much that they had to bring him back. The Dodgers announced yesterday that they made a deal to acquire Heisey from the Blue Jays for a player to be named later or cash considerations. Hersey started the season with the Dodgers but didn't see much playing time in the majors. The Dodgers eventually designated him for assignment when they made the big 13-player trade with the Braves. Heisey went on to sign with the Blue Jays for a short time before coming back to Los Angeles. This seems like an odd trade to me, but maybe I am missing something.
