LOS ANGELES – Bartolo Colon might be king of the GIF. But Clayton Kershaw is master of his domain.
Kershaw struck out 13 in a three-hit shutout as the Dodgers beat Colon and the New York Mets, 5-0, Thursday night to salvage a split of their four-game series at Dodger Stadium.
In his 250thcareer start, Kershaw threw his second complete-game shutout this season and the 14th of his career. Eight of those have come at Dodger Stadium where Kershaw is 66-29 with a 2.06 ERA and hasn’t given up a run in his past two starts – both of his shutouts.
